I promised a post…

…a week ago, and here it is!!!

So, I’ve got some nonsense going on with the dealership we got our SUV from, which is only causing my anxiety to get that much worse.  Fuck anxiety.

Also, I geeked out crazy hard over an event at the bookstore I had to cancel my last signing event at (but they love me, so it’s all good).  Here’s the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1756453611268515/  One of the authors in this event *ahem, Mr. Salvatore* is my favorite, so I’m actually still geeking out.  When I first found out about it, like 2 seconds after it was posted, I hyperventilated and actually stopped breathing HAHAHAHAHA!!  I don’t fangirl for a damn thing (except Jack Rousch because he puts me in a state of awe that cannot be explained.  Don’t know who he is?  Look him up.).  So I sat in front of my collection  (that happens to be missing 4-5 books) – insert sad face here – and tried to decide what I wanted him to sign.  Chose a book and a day later decided it wasn’t what I wanted.  I’m having him sign the first book of his I ever read way back in 2000.  (I’m old, deal with it).  I’m stupid excited to the point I will not be picking my husband up from work that day; he’ll have to get a ride to St. Pete from work.  Best part about that? He is totally cool with it!!

On to book 3 progress.  I finished chapter 3, American Government, and have moved on to chapter 4, Ethics.  Both classes I hated.  Hate is a strong word, but holy fuck were they bad.  And I’ll be taking Political Science in the Spring!  Jesus, I should start making my own wine for this, huh?

But heres’s the best news of all: the prices of the Kindle and Paperback versions have been lowered. *Note: the prices of the signed copies will NOT change because my costs do not change*  Additionally, books 1 & 2, as of August 12th and September 5th, respectively, will be headed over to Smashwords, where you can get all e-formats for the same price Kindle is at now!!!  See, I’ve been having this nagging feeling I’m almost intentionally alienating possible readers (see: fans), so I decided to not auto-re-enroll in KDP Select.  All e-book links will change on the Books page once each is up and ready to go through Smashwords.  I’ll post as each book’s availability changes, with links.

I really want to thank all of you who follow and read the blog!  As in from the bottom of my heart!

AND…summer semester is almost over.  Dean’s List again, just not official yet 😉

Much fucking love,

Amanda
